Nicole Klein

Nicole Klein graduated from Trinity Christian College with a teaching degree. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Aaron, and moved to Michigan for her husband to attend seminary. Nicole has intermittently taught in various school settings over the years, but she has also served in many other capacities. Whether it’s working with her own children, teaching in different churches, or mentoring young pregnant mothers, she is enthusiastic about her role at The Nest. Nicole is excited to engage with mentors and mentees, helping them understand that they are not alone and have a village walking alongside them.

Nicole has a heart for young mothers and desires to provide them with a safe person to talk to, pray with, and feel loved. She also aims to assist these mothers in finding opportunities for success in mothering and nurturing a relationship with the Lord. Nicole’s husband is the Senior Pastor at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. They have four children; one daughter and three sons.

Bonnie Swanson

Bonnie has served on staff at Warsaw Community Church for over 20 years. She began in WCC’s Counseling Center where she served as a therapist and counselor to children and families regionally before transitioning into the role of WCC’s Women’s Ministry Director. Bonnie then served as Director of Adult Ministries leading their discipleship focus until moving into her most recent role as the Executive Pastor of Ministries. She was also part of the Leadership Team that launched Plymouth Community Church.

As a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, Bonnie worked to champion education and partnerships with local schools while her kids were young. She has walked alongside many women in our community, discipling them in their faith journey.

Bonnie has been married to her husband, Scott for 35+ years. They have 3 boys, 2 daughters-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.

Stacey Gagnon

Stacey Gagnon is a foster mom, adoptive mom, blogger, educator, published children’s book author, a registered nurse, and an international speaker. She is the creator and Director of Trauma Lens Care where she provides training on trauma-informed practices, substance abuse, and ACEs in schools, jails, and public forums. TLC was created as a way for first responders to communicate with schools when families are involved with the police.

Stacey and her husband Darren founded Lost Sparrows, Inc in 2016 to alleviate the flow of children into orphanages in Eastern Europe. She has traveled across the US and Europe speaking and training on the effects of trauma on children and family.

Seeing the huge need to support moms, Stacey created The Nest in order to provide an upstream approach to childhood adversity.

Lili Stamper

Lili is a mom to Wyatt (17) and Laila (15) and two English bulldogs named Lulu and Bubba. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Trent. They have been together for 23 years.

She is also a registered nurse and an international board-certified lactation consultant. She has been an OB nurse for 13 years and was the recipient of the Daisy Foundation Award for nursing excellence in 2021.

A former foster child that was raised in Kosciusko County, she entered the foster care system at age 12. She lived with two different foster families, both of which continue to be part of her family today. Lili is excited to join the board of The Nest and is hoping to bring multiple perspectives to the table through her experiences as a nurse, mother, and a former foster child.

Trent, Lili, and the kids love traveling and camping – going out west is her favorite! She also enjoys gardening, knitting, and hosting get-togethers with family and friends.

Jayne Wirebaugh

Jayne and her husband, Derek were born and raised in southwest Michigan and met each other at Central Michigan University. Her college years were spent studying Early Childhood Education and Psychology, then teaching preschool in Ann Arbor, MI. After teaching, Jayne transitioned to full-time mom, then a part-time professional photographer, working for a studio in the Grand Rapids area for more than a decade. For the past 20 years, they called Holland, Michigan home, and loved living close to the beaches along Lake Michigan before moving to Indiana in 2021.

In 2016, the Wirebaughs became a family of 6, after adopting “tween” siblings from foster care in Eastern Europe. In 2023, their oldest son graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Education. Their oldest daughter is currently a missionary serving with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Their younger son just completed high school and plans to enter the military this fall, and their younger daughter will graduate high school in 2024 and is planning to attend college the following fall.

After having their eyes opened to the long-term effects of early childhood adversity (ACEs) and trauma, both Derek and Jayne became passionate about OVC research and education. They currently volunteer with Lost Sparrows, serving with both the Trauma Conference and the local Support Group for Foster and Adoptive families. Jayne has always felt called to work with both moms and babies, and she is honored to join The Nest and grateful to serve local moms and babies in our community.

Tammy Lane

Tammy has a passion for a continued lifelong learning of scripture and loves sharing that with others. She gets giddy when people understand what Christ has done for them and understand that they are worthy of being loved. Tammy has been married to her husband, Eric for 25 years and has three amazing children. They have also been blessed this year with a wonderful son-in-law and daughter-in-law.

She has been a teacher, (elementary and pre-school), a children’s early childhood ministry director, a Bible study leader, and a volunteer director. She and her husband co-founded Fellowship Missions, Kosciusko County’s local homeless shelter, in 2010. During this journey, they have experienced what genuine love, grace, forgiveness, mercy, pursuit, dedication, and faithfulness look and feel like.

They have also experienced and witnessed the effects of trauma and bondage. With all of these experiences and passion for the Lord and people, she is excited to be a part of The Nest team that will love, encourage, educate, and advocate for women and their infants, or unborn children who are at risk and faced with hard challenges.

Kathy Haddad

Kathy has been a resident of Warsaw, IN for over 30 years working in the Orthopaedic Industry for a majority of those and regularly volunteering in the community.

Over the last couple of years, Kathy has seen God grow in her a passion for church unity and how we as The Church might collectively reignite the love and care for others that the first church in Acts demonstrated.

Kathy has been married to her husband, Rich for 35+ years. They have 1 daughter, 1 son, a son and daughter-in-law, and now two grandsons.

Micah Nightingale

Micah graduated from Grace College with Biblical Studies and Youth Ministries degrees. He works for Coplen Construction as a project manager/carpenter. He and his wife, Nicole have 3 biological kids and 2 adopted kids. They have fostered for over 6 years and have worked to integrate their adoptive family with the kids’ biological family.

Kelsi Griffith

Kelsi began working in the nonprofit sector in 2010 and enjoys coming alongside organizations to accomplish work. She currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Strategy & Operations at Grace College & Seminary. She is a Grace alum, having completed her bachelor’s in 2011 and master’s in nonprofit management in 2016. Kelsi grew up in Ohio but has made Kosciusko County her home since 2011.

Amy Music

Amy Music, a devoted mother, and wife from Warsaw, IN, found strength in God’s restoration after facing challenges and losing her children to DCS. Amy is now able to have her children home and is a much healthier mother. Now, as a board member, she serves with gratitude and inspiration, sharing her journey of resilience and transformation.

Lindsey Miller

Lindsey Miller graduated from Grace College in 2005. Upon graduating, she worked at Depuy Orthopaedics ultimately landing as an IT senior analyst until she decided to step down and be home with her children. Since then she has worked at several local nonprofits. She is excited about her role within The Nest and desires that women in her community have the opportunity to be a part of a safe and loving community of support. She and her husband, Dan, have 4 children; 3 boys and 1 girl. Being a mom is hard and she wants every mom to have a village of support. She is passionate about walking alongside other moms to show them they don’t have to do it alone. She wants people to know the loving kindness of Jesus through her life. She and her family attend Winona Lake Grace Church in Winona Lake, IN.

Janice Workman

Janice lives with her husband, Mark, in Winona Lake, IN where she does the buying for their gift shop, Winona Mercantile. Janice has always had a heart for kids, starting as a 1st-grade teacher, and then, for the past 30+ years, she and her husband have opened their home to foster over 100 kids–many of whom they remain actively involved with today. Janice helped start the Room at the Table ministry at her home church, a ministry that supports local foster and adoptive families in their church and their community. She also heads the local foster closet that is available to assist any foster or kinship homes in Kosciusko County. Mark & Janice are parents to 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. They attend Winona Lake Grace Church.
